North York Knights 2024/2025 Registration

Payment for the upcoming season is to be made by either Visa or MasterCard credit cards only. The Knights do not accept cash or cheques. You will receive a receipt  once you have completed the online registration. The receipt is your confirmation of acceptance into the North York Knights Hockey Association  

The paid invoice is also your tax receipt. Please print a copy for your records. 

Notices of withdrawal and requests for refunds must be made only in writing by email to nykha.knights@gmail.com .

 

LEARN TO PLAY refunds, less a $75 administrative fee, will be made for Learn to Play registrants only if requested on or before October 31, 2024. Refunds for Learn to Play registrants will not be issued in respect of any requests received on or after November 1, 2024. 

HOUSE LEAGUE refunds, less a $150 administrative fee, will be provided for House League registrants only if requested before September 30, 2024.** (SEE NOTE BELOW REGARDING REFUNDS FOR PLAYERS TRYING OUT FOR A CDS/SELECT TEAM)  Refunds for House League participants will not be issued in respect of any requests received on or after October 1, 2024.

CDS/SELECT TRYOUT POLICIES

**Players (U10 – U18) who have tried out and accepted a spot on a Select team during tryouts in May and subsequently request a release from our the House League and Select team, will not receive a refund for their House League fees. This policy supersedes the House League refund policy. In addition, if a request of a release is made after a player has accepted a position on a Select team and has provided a Select team fee payment , the payment will be forfeited. If the player is NOT offered a spot on their age division Select team and requests a refund from our house league, a $150 fee will apply (see House League refund policy above)

 **Players (U7 – U9) who have tried out and are offered a spot on a CDS team during fall tryouts and subsequently request a release from our House League will not receive a refund for their House League fees. This policy supersedes the House League refund policy. In addition, if a request of a release is made after a player has accepted a position on a CDS team and has provided the team fee payment, the payment will be forfeited. If the player is NOT offered a spot on their age division CDS team and requests a refund from our house, a $150 fee will apply (see House League policy above)

 

As per Hockey Canada and GTHL regulations, players are only permitted to register with one club/associaton.

Refund cheques will only be processed after the deadline date for refunds for both House League and Learn to Play (i.e. September 30th and October 31st , 2024 respectively) regardless of when the request for the refund is made. If a player is released after the relevant deadline at the discretion of the Knights, no refund will be made.
