PAYMENT DUE DATES

All payments using the full payment option, or the first payment in the installment option, must be received by Aug 15th, 2024. 

If choosing the installment payment plan, subsequent payments must be received on the dates indicated.  Players whose payment have not cleared, will not be permitted to be on the ice until payments are received. 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

I agree that full payment will be made by credit card. 

I agree that installment payments will be completed by credit card ONLY.

It is understood that fees collected on behalf of St. Vital Community clubs do not necessarily go towards supporting hockey programming.

St. Vital Minor Hockey Association (SVMHA) Refund Policy

Introduction: The goal of this document is to provide a clear definition of established procedures regarding key aspects of The SVMHA Refund Policy. The following processes will be used for all registrants. For the purpose of this document, all dates will be in reference to the current hockey season in which the player is registered. (A complete season runs from July 15th to July 15th)

Key Points

To qualify for a refund, the following criteria must be met:

  • All refunds must be requested by the registrants or a parent/guardian on their behalf.
  • Registrants receiving subsidies will not be able to apply for refunds via SVMHA.
  • Refunds will not be processed for any player who is currently expelled and/or suspended from playing hockey.
  • Refunds will not be given for games missed during the season due to short term injury.
  • All refunds will be at the discretion of the SVMHA Executive.

To apply for a refund registrants must apply for the refund by completing the SVMHA refund application located on the SVMHA webpage.

Processing

SVMHA will determine in what format the fees will be refunded. Registration refunds will be processed in the following manner. The amount refunded is based solely on date and not number of ice times attended.

Players trying out for AAA or Highschool should have purchased the appropriate tryout ticket at time of registration, and not have paid regular registration fees.

  • 100% refund (minus a $25.00 admin fee and the $50.00club fee) - for players withdrawing on or before September 1st.
  • 75% refund - players withdrawing between September 16th and October 15th.
  • 45% refund - players withdrawing between October 16th - December 1.
  • No refund - players withdrawing after December 1.

Refunds will be processed on the following dates:

  • Requests received between July 15 to September 15th will be processed starting October 1st.
  • Requests received between September 16th and October 15th will be processed starting November 1st.

Special Circumstances

Refunds requests received after December 1st will only be reviewed by SVMHA executive committee in the following circumstances:

  • Season ending injury;
  • Medical reasons preventing the registrant from participating any further.
  • Registrants will need to provide SVMHA executive committee with;
  • Notification of injury within 7 days of the injury, by Email to the President or Executive Director.
  • A signed letter or discharge slip from the player’s physician, noting the date of injury and indicating that the participant cannot participate for the remainder of the current season.
