10.02   REGISTRATION FEES

 

a)     Registration fees are calculated based not only on the ice allocated to each   division, but also with the costs of referees, linesmen, timekeepers, insurance costs, coaching clinics, and other items such as pucks and pylons, etc.

b)     Registration fees will be reviewed on a yearly basis and all participants in the Minor Hockey program will be given the lowest rates possible,  provided they meet the following requirements:

 

1.      Previous years fees are not outstanding. No registration will be accepted unless past due fees are paid in full.

 

c)     A family rate will be provided with the amount and structure set up to be decided by the executive.

 

10.03     PAYMENT OF FEES

 

a)     Registration fees must be paid in full, and any players who have not paid the required fee will be suspended by the G.B.M.H.A. Executive.

b)     The following criteria has been set up for payment of fees, and may be changed at the discretion of the Executive:

i)                A fifty percent deposit for each and every child registered with G.B.M.H.A., balance to be paid in full by November 15^th.

ii)              Post-dated cheques dated no later than 60 days from date of registration.

iii)             Full payment – cash or cheque.

iv)             N.S.F. cheques will be charged the going rate at our banking establishment.

v)               All U18 players pay in full.

 

 

10.04     REGISTRATION REFUNDS

 

Refunds will be considered by the registrar, G.B.M.H.A., up to December 1, and after this date, by the G.B.M.H.A. Executive. The following criteria will be used in determining refunds:

 

a)       The deposit of 50 percent will be refunded in full before any on ice sessions begin.

 

b)        The deposit of 50 percent will be pro-rated after on ice sessions begin at the rate of 7.00 per practice and 7.00 per game. Parents are required to get coaches to sign a paper verifying the practices and games attended.

 

c)        The full fee will be refunded in full before any on ice sessions begin.

 

d)        The full fee will be refunded on a pro-rated basis (same as (b) above).

 

e)        There will be no refunds of the 50 percent deposit after December 1, and no full fee refunds after December 1, unless approved by G.B.M.H.A. Executive. Any requests for refunds must be in writing, along with the coaches summary of practices and games attended.
