Payment - Refund Policy - Subsidy

PAYMENT :

Payment of registration fees is divided into three installments due as follows:

1) First payment equivalent to 50% of the total registration fees when registering on the Hockey Canada platform;

2) A second payment equivalent to 25% of the total registration fees as of August 15, 2024; 

3) A third payment equivalent to 25% of the total registration fees as of October 15, 2024; 

Installments will be automatically debited on the above dates on the credit card you have indicated in the file. You have to update the information in your spordle account whether for a new card or a renewed card (new expiry date). It is your responsibility to contact AHMVD for any changes to our credit card. For any refused or declined payment on the credit card, a fee of $ 40 will be automatically charged. The only accepted method of payment for registration fees is by credit card.

REFUND POLICY:

Withdrawal before September 1st (all levels)

In case of withdrawal of the player, only the withdrawal notified to the Registrar and to the Association (in writing to [email protected]) BEFORE September 1st, 2024 will be eligible for the full refund of the registration fees less a $50 to cover administration fees.  After this date, the refund will be established according to the following conditions:

 Withdrawal:   All levels, except for M5-M7

  • If the withdrawal occurs between September 1st and 30th of the current year, please note that a fee of $250 is non-refundable and will be retained at the time of the reimbursement. From the moment a player participates in any sporting activity offered by AHMVD, membership fees for the federations of Hockey Québec, Hockey Canada and Hockey Lac St-Louis are no longer refundable.
  • As of October 1st 2024, no refund, for any reason whatsoever, will be accepted, considered, calculated nor issued, with the exception of a withdrawal resulting from an injury, provided a letter from a doctor is submitted. In this case, please refer to the Withdrawal for reason of an injury (all levels) clause.

Withdrawal:  Levels M5/M7

  • If the withdrawal occurs between September 1st and October 31st of the current year, please note that a fee of $125 is non-refundable and will be retained at the time of the reimbursement. From the moment a player participates in any sporting activity offered by AHMVD, membership fees for the federations of Hockey Québec, Hockey Canada and Hockey Lac St-Louis are no longer refundable.
  • As of November 1st 2024, no refund, for any reason whatsoever, will be accepted, considered, calculated nor issued, with the exception of a withdrawal resulting from an injury, provided a letter from a doctor is submitted.  In this case, please refer to the Withdrawal for reason of an injury (all levels) clause.

Withdrawal for reason of an injury (all levels)

Only a withdrawal in case of injury may be subject to a partial reimbursement after the aforementioned dates relating to the levels, and this, only until December 31st, 2024.  In order to obtain said partial reimbursement, a letter from a doctor will have to be duly submitted.    In addition to the sum of $250 that will be retained as mentioned above ($125 for M5/M7 players), an administration fees of $50 as well as a compensation for the ice cost will be kept, calculated at the pro rata of the sessions offered to the player (and not, according to the presence of the player at the sessions) will also be retained.

A withdrawal under the Reimbursement Policy is a voluntary or involuntary departure or enrollment of your child in school hockey that does not allow double carding.

RESIDENTS OF VAUDREUIL-DORION and OF LES CÈDRES

A subsidy of $250 is automatically applied on registration fees for residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion. Citizen card numbers entered at the registration process will all be verified and confirmed by the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion before the end of the season. If citizen card is invalid, not renewed or expired, an amount of $250 will be charged back to each resident in that situation. If said $250 is not paid within 72 hours of receiving notice from AHMVD, your child will automatically be refused any access to any hockey activity with the Association and this, as long as the $250 remains unpaid. 

A subsidy of $100 is automatically applied on registration fees for residents of Les Cèdres. Address of each resident will be verified and confirmed by the City of Les Cèdres before the end of the season. If address is invalid, incorrect, false or resident has moved, an amount of $100 will be charged back to each resident in that situation. If said $100 is not paid within 72 hours of receiving notice from AHMVD, your child will automatically be refused any access to any hockey activity with the Association and this, as long as the $100 remains unpaid.
