Registration details 2024-2025

New and mandatory :

When registering your child online, you must attach the player code of ethics to your account in the “Members/Documents” tab. You must select your child's profile and in “Documents” you will be able to add the player's code of ethics signed by the parent and the player. You will also be able to attach it during step 2 of the online registration process.

No registration will be confirmed (your child's name will not be put on the list of active players for the current season) until the player's code of ethics has been attached to the registration, even if you have paid online. The Player Code of Ethics must be signed by the player and the parent, with the exception of players born in 2018-2019 and 2020, where only the parent must sign the Player Code of Ethics.

General registration procedures:

Here is the information concerning the registration procedures that apply for all players in the Richelieu region wishing to play in a female hockey team for the 2024-2025 season:

• Registration must be done with the Association du hockey Féminin du Richelieu (AHFR) regardless of their categories or classes.
• Note that if we have to limit the number of registrations to certain categories, the registration order will be used.
• Early bird prices will be offered by the AHFR until June 23, 2024.
• It is possible to pay the registration fee in one, 3  or 6 installments by credit card if registration is completed before the end of July 20th 2024. The available rates will be offered to you on the online registration site.
• The preferred method of payment by the AHFR is the credit card. If however this method of payment does not suit you, please contact us to make arrangements. You can also pay by interac transfer (FULL REGISTRATION PRICE ONLY, no installment by interac), please send your payment to [email protected]. Indicate your daughters first name, surname and date of birth and by taking care to use the password AHFR2024 for the transfer.
• An additional amount will be requested by your team (teams' fund) at the start of the season for the team's participation in various tournaments and / or special activities (approx. 150$ - 200$). Note that these fees are not optional and that all players on the team must pay them.

Refund Policy

In the event of cancellation, the following consumed fees will be deducted:

• Before the start of the camps (Labor Day): $ 25
• Between the start of the camps and the composition of the teams (Sept 30): $ 80 to cover non-refundable insurance and registration fees to Hockey Canada and Hockey Québec  and $ 80 for fitness training and assessments
• Between the teams composition and October 31st : 50%
• After October 31st : no refund

Exception : New players U7 and U9 100% reimbursement before the 6th activity & new players in U11 100% reimbursement before the 4th activity

In the event of injury or medical reasons, upon presentation of a doctor's note, the following costs will be deducted:

• $ 80 to cover non-refundable insurance and registration fees to Hockey Canada and Hockey Québec
• An amount in proportion to the use

It is important to inform the association as soon as possible to make arrangements

 

Overdue Payment

All registration fees must be paid no later than November 30th of the current season, unless a formal payment agreement has been entered into with the association.

Players with an unpaid balance on their file as of November  30th will be removed from the team roster and will not be able to take part in team activities until the balance has been paid or an agreement is reached with the association..
