House League Volunteer Registration

As a volunteer I will

1.     Act with respect for myself and others by demonstrating dignity, modesty, fairness, maturity, and a positive attitude.

2.      Understand that any the players plays hockey for their enjoyment, not mine.

3.      Encourage the players to play by the rules.

4.      Teach the players that their effort, commitment to the team, and improvement are more important than the score of the game.

5.      Offer the players positive feedback to encourage continual improvement and confidence.

6.      Refrain from ridiculing any of the players regarding their performance.

7.      Game officials are to be treated with respect. Any disparaging remarks, threats and/or intimidation on or off the ice are inappropriate and unacceptable.
