Fees

1. Refund of Registration Fees
   i. Any player withdrawing from MMHA who wishes a refund must indicate this by email to the
   president ([email protected]) and treasurer
   ([email protected]) .
   ii. The amount refunded will be determined by the criteria listed below and by the date that
   the notice is received.
   ● Prior to October 1st - Full registration fee refund - less the cost of evaluations
   ● October 1st to December 15th - Full registration fee refund - less the cost of evaluations
   and the costs incurred for practices and development already offered.
   ● After December 15th - No refund provided
   iii. Recreation fees will not be refunded after November 1st (fees are remitted to recreation
   clubs on this date).
   iv. If the player has already been rostered by the registrar, any refund provided will be l ess
   the Hockey Manitoba Insurance fee that i s paid by Macdonald Hockey for rostering the
   player.
   v. In the case that Hockey Manitoba should cancel, pause, or post-pone the season at any
   point, the association will refund a prorated amount based on costs already i ncurred. It
   may not be possible to determine the refund amount until after the close of the season.
2. vi. Early Bird Registration will be held in which players will have the opportunity to register at a special early bird fee. These dates will be communicated to the membership yearly.
3. Registration after the early bird deadline will result in full fee being charged
4. Early Bird- MMHA will offer early bird registration each season between dates specified by the MMHA board for yearly registration.
5. Outstanding Fees- Any balances due for registration or fines from prior years must be paid in full before players will be allowed to register and play for the current year/season.
