Terms and Conditions for Learn-to-Skate Program Enrollment

Welcome to our Learn-to-Skate program! Please review the following terms and conditions before completing your registration. By signing up for this program, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Program Overview

The Learn-to-Skate program is designed to introduce participants to basic skating skills in a supportive and fun environment. Equipment required for participation will be provided by the program.

2. Equipment Use and Return Policy

• All necessary equipment (e.g., skates, helmets, protective gear) is provided for all registrants in the program.
• Participants are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of the equipment while in their possession.
• If a participant decides not to continue in the program, they must notify the league in writing and return all provided equipment in good condition within seven (7) days of their decision.
• Failure to return the equipment within the specified time frame or returning damaged equipment (beyond reasonable wear and tear) may result in a replacement fee, which will be communicated by the league.

3. Participation Requirements

• Participants must follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by program coaches and staff.
• The league reserves the right to remove participants from the program for non-compliance with rules or behavior deemed unsafe to themselves or others.

4. Refund Policy

• There is no fee for this program.  Sponsored by the GTHL and West Hill Minor Hockey Association.

5. Liability Waiver

• By enrolling, participants and/or their guardians acknowledge the risks associated with skating activities and agree to release the league, its coaches, staff, and volunteers from any liability for injuries or damages that may occur during program participation.

6. Photography and Media Release

• Participants and/or their guardians consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during the program for promotional purposes, unless otherwise communicated in writing to the league.

7. Acceptance of Terms

• By signing up for the Learn-to-Skate program, participants and/or their guardians confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
