VVHL Refund Policy

Victoria Village Hockey League Refund Policy

•   To be eligible for a refund, a notice of withdrawal must be received by email by the Victoria Village Hockey League Registrar.

•   The below conditions apply to all withdrawal requests, including but not limited to voluntary and involuntary withdrawals, withdrawals as the result of illness, injury, changes of residence or any other reasons.

•   Although a participant may withdraw at any time before November 15th and the Victoria Village will grant release upon request, all refund requests received prior to July 31 are subject to a $150 Administration fee and there are no refunds as of August 1st.  

•   Per GTHL rules, a player may NOT be registered with more than one hockey club/organization at a time in the Hockey Canada registry. If your player is registered with more than one club and decides to withdraw from the Victoria Village Hockey League, the above withdrawal timelines apply, including the non-refundable admin fee.

•   Please note, that refunds will not be issued for missed ice times for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, suspension or changes of residence.

•   Full registration fees are required for all players. The Victoria Village Hockey League does not prorate registration fees for players who register after the start of a season.

•   Refund processing time is approximately 30 days after the date of acceptance from the Victoria Village Hockey League.

•   Refunds are issued in the same form as the original payment with the following exceptions: cash payments will be refunded in the form of a cheque, and registrations made with a credit card that has expired between the time of the original payment and refund will be refunded by cheque.

We believe that hockey should be a fun, safe and inclusive sport and that our organization should serve as a safe and inclusive place for all players and families to participate. All participants and spectators are expected to adhere to protocols and guidelines as set out by our programs, the facilities they run in and the governing bodies/associations which the Victoria Village Hockey League operates under. This includes but is not limited to the rules and guidelines outlined by The GTHL, NYHL, Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada.

Any person(s) found in violation of the rules and principles set out by the Victoria Village Hockey League or the rules and guidelines of the aforementioned governing bodies/associations will be removed from the Victoria Village Hockey League and may not be eligible for a refund.
