2024-2025 LHA REFUND POLICY

LEASIDE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION 2024-2025 REFUND POLICY (Link to LHA Refund Policy)

All withdrawal requests from the Leaside Hockey Association (LHA) must be made via email to the LHA registrar, registrar@leasidehockey.com. Refunds will only be provided, if applicable, as follows:

Prior to and including July 31st, 2024, players may withdraw and receive a refund of their registration fee minus the non-refundable $150 admin fee.

As of August 1st, 2024, no refunds will be issued for any reason, whether the withdrawal is voluntary or involuntary. Including, but not limited to, withdrawal for illness, results of virus testing or other virus-related conditions and/or quarantine/isolation orders, injury, move of residence, or any other reasons, a refund will not be issued.

An LHA registered House League or Select player who transfers to an LHA GTHL team within the season, will receive a 100% refund (no admin fee deducted).

A player may only be registered with one hockey club/association at any given time in the Hockey Canada Registry, and as per GTHL Policies/Rules available at https://gthlcanada.com/policies-and-forms.  Any player found to be registered with multiple clubs/associations and who chooses to withdraw from LHA, or is withdrawn by the GTHL, will be subject to the above refund conditions and timelines, including the $150 non-refundable admin fee.

The LHA reserves the right to modify all programming at our discretion at any time (including date, session time, and arena). Some reasons for programming modifications include, but are not limited to, local virus outbreaks, health and safety concerns, and directives from: government, our hockey governing bodies, and/or our arena suppliers.

The modifications may be, but are not limited to:
-Changes to the dates, times and/or location of program sessions.
-Reductions in the number of players on the ice or a reduction in ice time.
-Substituting hockey skills sessions for competitive games or LIT.
-Temporary cancellations, postponements or rescheduling of program sessions as required.
-Cancellation of a program: Should the LHA be unable to provide a program, the LHA reserves the right to cancel the program and provide the participants a partial refund.

If a program is modified or shut down due to any government or governing body directive and/or for public health or safety reasons, the LHA is still obligated to fulfill our contractual obligations and as a result if we are unable to provide a program, we reserve the right to cancel the program and may provide partial refunds, if contractual obligations allow.

There will be no refunds for missed ice times due to illness or injury.
