LHA 2023-2024 REFUND POLICY

LEASIDE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION 2023-2024 REFUND POLICY (Refund Policy)

All withdrawal and refund requests from the Leaside Hockey Association (LHA) must be made via email to the LHA registrar, registrar@leasidehockey.com. Refunds will only be provided, if applicable, as follows:

Prior to and including June 30th, 2023, players may withdraw and receive a refund of their registration fee minus the non-refundable $100 admin fee.

As of July 1st, 2023, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including illness, results of virus testing or other virus-related conditions, injury, move of residence, voluntary or involuntary withdrawal, or any other reasons.

Should an LHA registered House League or Select player transfer to an LHA GTHL team for the season, and have paid their House League registration fee, they will have 100% of their paid House League registration fee applied to their LHA GTHL Team fee.

The only exception to this policy is for players who have registered with the LHA, paid the registration fee in full, and are on the LHA wait list and whose registration is declined because their division/session is full, in which case they will receive a full 100% refund with no admin fee deducted.

A player may only be registered with only one hockey club/association at any given time in the Hockey Canada Registry, as per GTHL Rules, www.gthlcanada.com/rulebook. Any player found to be registered with multiple clubs/associations and who chooses to withdraw from LHA will be subject to the above refund conditions and timelines, including the $100 non-refundable admin fee.

The LHA reserves the right to modify all programming at our discretion at any time. Grounds for modifications may be, but not limited to, directives from the LHA’s hockey governing bodies, arena suppliers or government. The LHA may still be obligated to fulfill our contractual obligations due to any modifications or shutdowns and as a result if we are unable to provide a program, we reserve the right to cancel the program and may provide partial refunds, if contractual obligations allow.
