City of Vaughan House League Registration 2024-2025

House League Terms and Conditions

Registration to be deemed Completed when all fees paid in full and necessary waivers have been processed.

• Your child is not "Fully Accepted" into the program until you have received a Notification of Acceptance email from the CVHA office.
• Late or defaulted payments, not approved by the CVHA Executive, will result in the cancellation of ALL playing Privileges for the registered player.

Refunds: Refund consideration will ONLY be given if requested in writing to the CVHA Office no later than 3rd Tuesday in October. This date may change based on the start of house league for the 2024-25 Season. The guideline is 4 weekends after the start of the season. Please check online for more current updates.

The following administration fees will be deducted from the original registration fee:
• $80.00 will be deducted from ALL refunds.
• $20.00 will also be deducted for credit card registrants.

If a player sustains an injury or illness and is unable to finish the season after 3rd Tuesday in October, partial refunds may be granted. In these cases, the $80.00 administration fee, $50.00 jersey/sock fee and $20.00 credit card processing fee will be deducted from the full payment first. The refund will be based on the number of weeks to the end of the regular season from the date of written request is received in the CVHA Office. (Please Note: Refunds take a minimum of 4-6 weeks)

Balancing Teams in House League:

The CVHA reserves the right and will move players during the season, as necessary, until this balance is achieved. If this is not acceptable, please reconsider registering. Our first concern is parity in house league, and not affiliations with a specific coach or friend or family member. We take into consideration the good of an entire division, and therefore are not able to guarantee all individual requests from players and parents. Please understand that if anyone refuses to follow trades approved by the CVHA, they will be refunded their registration fee at a pro-rated amount minus administration charges.

Player requests will only be considered if submitted through an online form on the CVHA website. This form will be shut down on August 30, 2024 and no further requests will be considered for the 2024-2025 season. 

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ THE ABOVE. THE CONVENORS AND VICE PRESIDENTS OF HOUSE LEAGUE HAVE FINAL SAY AND APPROVAL ON ALL PLAYER MOVEMENT. 

Goalies: If there are more teams in a division than goalies, I understand that the Convenor may not assign goalies to a specific team but work with the goalies to form a schedule in which they rotate around.

The registration information contained within this website is certified to be true and accurate by the registering party and may be required by any of Hockey Canada, the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) or the City of Vaughan Hockey Association (CVHA) and their respective executives, employees and volunteers, for the purpose of administering rules and regulations, facilitating hockey programs or providing notices or information about events, activities or matters of importance to the participants in the CVHA. Release & Indemnification

In consideration of the City of Vaughan Hockey Association (CVHA) permitting the player to participate in any of the activities of the CVHA I, for myself, my family, heirs, successors and executors hereby indemnify and hold harmless the CVHA, its directors, officers, successors and assigns, from all costs, claims, actions, damages or liabilities, whatever their nature or however caused, resulting from the participation of the player in any of the activities of the CVHA.
