Wainwright Minor Ball Registration - Terms & Conditions
By registering a player with Wainwright Minor Ball, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Player Eligibility
1.1. Players must meet the age requirements for their respective divisions as determined by Wainwright Minor Ball and affiliated governing bodies.
1.2. Proof of age (birth certificate or equivalent) may be required upon request.
1.3. Players must reside within the designated catchment area unless an exception has been granted by league officials.
2. Registration & Fees
2.1. All registration forms must be completed in full and submitted by the stated deadline.
2.2. Registration fees must be paid in full before a player is eligible to participate in games or practices.
2.3. Late registrations may be subject to additional fees and will only be accepted if space is available.
2.4. Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the Wainwright Minor Ball refund policy.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1. Players, parents, and coaches must adhere to the leagues Code of Conduct, promoting sportsmanship, respect, and fair play.
3.2. Any form of harassment, bullying, abuse, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the league.
3.3. Parents and spectators must respect officials, coaches, and players at all times.
4. Commitment & Participation
4.1. Players are expected to attend all scheduled practices, games, and team events unless prior notice is given.
4.2. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives on time and is properly equipped.
4.3. Teams are assigned based on skill levels and league regulations; requests for team placement are not guaranteed.
5. Equipment & Uniforms
5.1. Players must wear the required uniforms and safety equipment as outlined by Wainwright Minor Ball regulations.
5.2. Parents are responsible for providing any necessary personal equipment, such as gloves, cleats, and bats, unless otherwise stated.
5.3. Any league-issued uniforms or equipment must be returned at the end of the season in good condition.
6. Insurance & Liability
6.1. Wainwright Minor Ball provides basic insurance coverage; however, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participation.
6.2. Wainwright Minor Ball, its organizers, coaches, and volunteers are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during league activities.
6.3. Parents/guardians are responsible for any medical expenses not covered by league insurance.
7. Photography & Media Release
7.1. By registering, parents/guardians consent to the use of player images in league promotions, social media, and publications unless a written opt-out request is submitted.
7.2. Photos and videos taken during games and events may be used for promotional purposes without financial compensation.
8. Volunteer Requirements
8.1. Wainwright Minor Ball relies on volunteers for coaching, umpiring, and other league operations. Parents/guardians may be required to fulfill volunteer commitments.
8.2. Failure to meet volunteer commitments may result in an additional fee or impact future registration eligibility.
9. Weather & Cancellations
9.1. Games and practices may be canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
9.2. Notifications will be sent via email, text, or social media as soon as possible.
9.3. No refunds will be issued for canceled games unless determined otherwise by league officials.
10. Amendments & Compliance
10.1. Wainwright Minor Ball reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
10.2. All participants must comply with league rules, policies, and any additional directives issued by Wainwright Minor Ball.
