Registration Terms and Conditions
By registering with King Minor Hockey (including Schomberg and Nobleking), you are accepting the terms and conditions of registration set out below. When you have completed your registration, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and receipt. This is your Tax Receipt for the Hockey Season.
The Association has benchmarked its Fee Structure to ensure that registration fees are competitive and in line with what other Associations are charging for comparable programs. Registration Fees are based on costs associated with the following:
· Administrative Costs
· Cost of Ice Purchases
· Equipment
· Insurance
· League Fees (OMHA, SRLL, YSMHL)
· Player Development
· Special Events
· Year End Awards & Team Pictures
Family Registration Discount:
Families registering three or more Players will receive a 50% Discount on the 3rd, 4th, or subsequent Players. The discounted fee is applicable to lowest Registration Fee Due on that Player. Fees will be recalculated if 1 player is subsequently cancelled. Not applicable to Juvenile.
Additional Fees:
Jersey Fee: Each player will need to purchase a set of home and away jerseys. You will receive ordering instructions once you have successfully registered. Jerseys may last multiple seasons.
Team Fees: You will be charged an applicable team fee to cover team specific costs such referees, timekeepers, tournaments, etc. The team staff will go over a budget and fundraising opportunities to offset these costs.
Requests for Refunds: A $50.00 Administration Fee will be applied to all refund requests to cover the costs of administration, and associated insurance costs. The Administration Fee will be waived in those situations where the Association, due to insufficient Player numbers, is unable to provide a Player with a Team to play on.
All refunds MUST submitted using the online "Request for Refund Form" (available under registration). The refund will be based on the date the form is submitted. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing from the time of notification. Amounts paid by cheque will be delayed until cheque clears the bank account.
Administration Fee, Late Fee, Tryout Fees & Rep. Fees will Not be Refunded.
The balance of Registration Fees will be refunded as follows (excludes covid-19 related refund):
· From June to August 31st - $50.00 Administration Fee only; remainder of fees will be refunded.
· From September 1st – October 15th – 75% of fee will be refunded.
· From October 16th - November 15th - 50% of fee will be refunded.
· After November 16th - 0% of fee will be refunded.
· If a Family Registration Discount was taken – the fee is added back to the lowest of the registrant dues and recalculated, then applied to the player in question.
· Any player who registers but signs a Junior Playing Card will be entitled to a full refund as long as they did not participate in a Tryout, practice or game. If they participate in an on ice activity the refund will be granted as per policy
· Any player requesting a refund due to Medical reasons or relocation must submit an online Request for Refund Form. This must then be approved by the Board of Directors.
Tax Receipts:
An Income Tax Receipt for Registration Fees is your On-line e-mail confirmation upon registration. Print Off Receipt and/or Keep that e-mail Safe.
