Avenue Road Hockey Association Registration 2025 - 2026

Welcome to the Avenue Road Ducks Hockey Association! By participating in our programs, all members, including players, parents, coaches, and volunteers, agree to uphold the following terms and conditions:

1. Respect & Sportsmanship: All participants are expected to demonstrate respect, sportsmanship, and professionalism at all times, both on and off the ice. This includes treating fellow players, coaches, parents, and officials with kindness and respect.​
2. Player Safety: The safety and well-being of our players are of utmost importance. All bench staff must complete required background checks, certifications, and courses, including Vulnerable Sector Checks (VSC) and safety-related certifications, as mandated by the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL).​
3. Code of Conduct: All members must adhere to the Avenue Road Ducks Association Code of Conduct, which promotes a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved. Any violation of this code may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program.​
4. Fees & Payment: All registration fees and other required payments must be made by the specified deadlines. Failure to do so may result in the player being unable to participate in practices, games, or other team events until payment is received.​
5. Parental Involvement: Parents and guardians are encouraged to support their child’s development in hockey by promoting positive attitudes, fair play, and involvement in team activities. Communication with coaches and staff should remain respectful at all times.​
6. Compliance with OHF and GTHL Guidelines: All participants must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), including all safety protocols, player development guidelines, and scheduling expectations.​
7. Observance of Religious Practices: Recognizing that many of our players and families observe Jewish traditions, the Avenue Road Ducks Hockey Association respects and accommodates religious practices by refraining from scheduling games and events on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.​
